Murder Mittens, the resilient clinic cat, entered our lives earlier this year through a partnership with Happy Kats rescue. Her journey to us began with an unfortunate eye infection that eventually necessitated the removal of her eye. Despite her initial health challenges, Murder Mittens quickly endeared herself to everyone at the clinic.
Initially nameless, we tried various monikers, but none seemed to resonate with her—perhaps because she never responded to any of them! What we did discover, however, is her penchant for morning affection. She thrives on cuddles and attention, setting a cheerful tone for the day.
During her downtime, Murder Mittens can often be found in the breakroom, engrossed in her version of "cat TV." Positioned by the window, she spends hours watching the antics of birds, butterflies, and any other creatures that pass by. It's her personal form of entertainment until she gracefully succumbs to a peaceful nap in her favorite spot.
Murder Mittens has not only become a cherished member of our clinic but also a source of joy and comfort for everyone who crosses her path. Her resilience, charm, and unique personality have made her a beloved presence in our daily lives.
