Hello, I'm Jennifer, a Lead Customer Service Representative at the clinic, joining the team on June 13, 2022. After a hiatus as a stay-at-home mom, I re-entered the workforce post-divorce and found solace working with animals, calming my PTSD and anxiety. My journey began by adopting Zoey, a rescue dog with a difficult past. Watching her transform into a cherished family member inspired me to provide comfort not just to patients but also their owners, aiding them on their journey of adding a new family member.
Since mid-June 2022, I've been part of the practice, enjoying the opportunity to witness patients grow from puppies to adults, each with its unique personality. The excitement they exude during appointments is truly heartwarming. Growing up across Central Texas with my parents and two brothers, I was influenced by my grandfather, a former Marine. While I didn't follow in his footsteps in the Marine Corps, I served in the Army for eight years, meeting my current husband in 2019 and marrying in 2020. At home, I share my life with Zoey, who delights in post-work zoomies, and Diamond, the cat with a demanding yet endearing personality.
Photography is one of my passions, providing a therapeutic outlet for my PTSD. I attended the Art Institute in Seattle, working towards an associate's degree. Additionally, I find joy in beach outings and fishing. One memorable moment involves dancing to "Baby Shark" with my battle buddies on a river trip, creating unexpected joy for both children and sleep-deprived college neighbors. Life is full of surprises, and I embrace each day with a sense of humor and a love for making connections, whether through work or play.
