Preventive care gives us the opportunity to evaluate your dog before visible signs of illness develop. By combining regular examinations with annual diagnostic screening, vaccinations, and individualized recommendations, we can build a more complete picture of your dog’s health.
Regular preventive examinations allow us to track changes in weight, mobility, skin, teeth, behavior, and overall health.
Annual bloodwork and parasite testing can reveal changes that may not yet be visible during daily life at home.
Monthly payments make it easier to provide recommended preventive care throughout the year.
Adult Dog Wellness Foundation
The Adult Dog Wellness Membership includes the core preventive services recommended for maintaining health and detecting changes earlier.
Your dog will receive two comprehensive preventive care examinations during the membership year.
These visits allow our veterinarians to monitor your dog’s overall health, weight, nutrition, dental health, skin, coat, heart, lungs, mobility, and other changes that may develop over time.
The plan includes two additional examinations that can be used as needed during the membership year.
These visits may be helpful when a new concern develops or when your dog needs to be examined between scheduled preventive visits. Diagnostic testing, treatment, and medications are separate unless specifically included in the plan.
Annual adult diagnostic screening provides important information about your dog’s internal health.

These tests help evaluate organ function, blood cells, heartworm exposure, and intestinal parasites—even when your dog appears healthy.
The membership includes the recommended Distemper/Parvo combination vaccination for the plan year.
This core vaccine helps protect against several serious infectious diseases, including canine distemper and parvovirus. Your veterinarian will recommend vaccination based on your dog’s age and previous vaccine history.
The plan includes the recommended Leptospirosis vaccination for the membership year.
Leptospirosis is a bacterial disease that can affect the kidneys and liver. Dogs may be exposed through contaminated soil, standing water, or urine from infected wildlife and other animals.
The plan includes the recommended Bordetella vaccinations for the membership year.
Bordetella vaccination helps protect against one of the common causes of infectious respiratory disease. It is especially important for dogs that visit grooming facilities, boarding facilities, daycare, training classes, dog parks, or other environments where dogs gather.
Rabies vaccination is included when due during the membership year.
Rabies is a fatal viral disease that can affect both animals and people. Maintaining current vaccination protects your dog and helps meet local legal requirements.
Nail trims are included as part of the Adult Dog Wellness Membership.
Regular nail care helps maintain comfort, healthy movement, and appropriate paw position.
Customize the Membership
The Adult Dog Wellness Membership can be adjusted by adding services that fit your dog’s lifestyle and preventive healthcare needs.
ProHeart 6 may be added to provide year-round heartworm prevention through injections given every six months. This option removes the need to remember a monthly heartworm dose at home.
Canine influenza vaccination may be added for dogs with increased exposure to other dogs, including those attending boarding, daycare, grooming, training, shows, or other social activities.
A canine influenza booster may be added when needed to complete the initial vaccine series or maintain protection based on your dog’s vaccine history.
An additional Leptospirosis booster may be added when needed based on your dog’s previous vaccination history and current recommendations.
A professional dental cleaning may be added to the Adult Dog Wellness Membership.
The dental option includes:
Tooth extractions, oral surgery, additional anesthesia, and take-home medications are not included in the dental option and may require additional fees.

Not every adult dog has the same preventive healthcare needs. A dog that regularly boards or attends daycare may benefit from different protection than a dog with limited exposure to other animals.
Our team will help you select the included foundation and optional services that best fit your dog’s age, lifestyle, health, vaccine history, and exposure risks.

Tailwaggers Wellness Club spreads the cost of the selected services across monthly payments according to the terms of your membership.
