The Tailwaggers Kitten Wellness Membership includes developmental examinations, vaccinations, parasite screening, deworming, and other preventive services recommended during kittenhood. The plan can also be adjusted with optional services based on your kitten’s age, lifestyle, health, and your family’s needs.

Kittens need more than one examination or a single vaccine. Their preventive care is completed through a series of visits that allow our veterinary team to monitor growth, build vaccine protection, treat intestinal parasites, and help your family navigate the first year.
Developmental examinations allow us to monitor your kitten’s weight, growth, teeth, nutrition, behavior, and overall development.
A complete kitten vaccination series helps build protection against serious infectious diseases during a vulnerable stage of life.
Monthly payments make it easier to provide recommended kitten care throughout the membership year.
Kitten Wellness Foundation
The Kitten Wellness Membership includes the core preventive services recommended during your kitten’s first year.
Your kitten will receive developmental examinations throughout the initial kitten visit series.
These visits allow our veterinarians to monitor growth, weight, nutrition, teeth, behavior, parasite risks, and overall development while answering questions about caring for your new kitten.
The plan includes two additional examinations that can be used as needed during the membership year.
These visits may be helpful when a new concern develops or when your kitten needs to be examined outside of the scheduled developmental visit series. Diagnostic testing, treatment, and medications are separate unless specifically included in the plan.
The kitten plan includes the recommended FVRCP vaccination series for the membership year.
The FVRCP combination vaccine helps protect against feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia. Because young kittens have changing levels of maternal antibodies, this vaccine must be given as a series rather than as a single dose.
The membership includes the initial feline leukemia vaccination series recommended during kittenhood.
Feline leukemia virus can spread through close contact between cats. Vaccination helps protect kittens during a stage when future lifestyle and exposure risks may still be changing.
Your kitten’s first-year rabies vaccination is included when recommended based on age.
Rabies is a fatal viral disease that can affect both animals and people. Vaccination protects your kitten and helps meet local legal requirements.
The plan includes a fecal examination to screen for intestinal parasites.
Kittens may carry intestinal parasites even when they appear healthy. Fecal testing helps identify parasites that may affect growth, digestion, and overall health.
Deworming treatments are included as part of the Kitten Wellness Membership.
Young kittens commonly acquire intestinal parasites from their mother or their environment. Appropriate deworming helps remove susceptible parasites and supports healthy growth.
Nail trims are included as part of the Kitten Wellness Membership.
Introducing nail care early helps keep nails comfortable and gives kittens positive experience with handling during an important developmental stage.

The kitten plan can be adjusted by adding services that fit your kitten and your family. Available options are reviewed with you before enrollment.
Spay or neuter surgery may be added to the Kitten Wellness Membership.

Additional fees may apply for females that are in heat or pregnant, cryptorchid males, or kittens that need retained deciduous teeth extracted.
A permanent identification microchip and registration may be added when your kitten’s spay or neuter procedure is included in the plan.
A microchip can help reunite you with your cat if they become lost and are taken to a veterinary hospital or animal shelter.
A medical recovery shirt may be added for use after surgery. It provides a comfortable barrier that helps protect the surgical site during recovery.

Yes. The preventive-care foundation includes the recommended FVRCP series, initial feline leukemia vaccine series, and first-year rabies vaccination.
Intestinal parasites are common in kittens and may be present even when a kitten appears healthy. Fecal testing and appropriate deworming help identify and treat susceptible parasites.
The membership includes two additional examinations that may be used as needed. Diagnostic testing, treatment, medications, and other services associated with an illness are separate unless specifically included.
